FLYING MOON IN SPACE ist eine sechsköpfige Band aus Leipzig, die aus stundenlangen Live-Improvisationen hervorgegangen ist. Nachdem ihr Debütalbum 2020 auf dem Londoner Label Fuzz Club veröffentlicht wurde, folgten Remixe von international bekannten Künstlern wie XIU XIU, Minami Deutsch, SUUNS und A place to bury Strangers, bdrmm und Gloria de Oliveira. Das Nachfolgealbum “ZWEI” wurde 2021 in einer Kirche in den tschechischen Wäldern aufgenommen und erschien im Sommer 2022 ebenfalls auf Fuzz Club. Die Veröffentlichung wurde von einer 30-tägigen Tour durch Deutschland, Dänemark, Schweden, die Niederlande, Frankreich, Großbritannien, Österreich und die Schweiz begleitet. Es folgten Auftritte bei Festivals wie dem MIL Lisboa (PT), ESNS (NL), Rockomotives (FR), L’abore (DE) und most:wanted music (DE).
In energiegeladenen Liveshows verbindet Flying Moon in Space mühelos Elemente von Krautrock, Electronica, Indie und Techno zu einem unverwechselbaren Mix, der sich nur schwer kategorisieren lässt.

FLYING MOON IN SPACE is a six-piece band from Leipzig that emerged from hours of live improvisation. After their debut album was released in 2020 on the London label Fuzz Club, remixes by internationally renowned artists such as XIU XIU, Minami Deutsch, SUUNS and A place to bury Strangers followed. The follow-up album “ZWEI” was recorded in a church in the Czech forests in 2021 and was also released on Fuzz Club in the summer of 2022. The release was accompanied by a 30-date tour through Germany, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, the UK, Austria and Switzerland. This was followed by performances at showcase festivals such as MIL Lisboa (PT) most:wanted music (GER) and ESNS (NL). Releases of further remixes (including BDRMM (UK), Zamilska (PL), Gloria de Oliviera (BRA/GER) and a release of a live album (Fuzz Club (UK)) are planned for 2023.
In energetic live shows, Flying Moon in Space effortlessly combines elements of Krautrock, Electronica, Indie and Techno into a distinctive mix that is difficult to categorise.
